The terrifying photos of a Russian missile landing at the production base of one of the regional road construction companies of JSC “State Joint – Stock Company “Automobile Roads of Ukraine” are striking.

The ballistics hit on a peaceful state-owned road enterprise, which worked practically around the clock on the country’s roads, providing traffic and removing snowdrifts from them, does not obey any logic.

– Production and administrative premises were destroyed, specialized road equipment and mechanisms were destroyed.

What the Russian barbarians did to the equipment that went out on the roads every day as part of road repair teams is not clear.

The enemy, in his impotent rage, is committing ever greater crimes and after the terrible shelling of the energy infrastructure, hits on trains and depots of the Ukrainian railway, has now begun hunting for the equipment and production facilities of the regional road construction companies.

In this regard, the safety of road transport in the country and the provision of a key systemic state-owned company, which is able to lend the State a shoulder in difficult times, with additional resources in the form of equipment (both for horizontal and vertical construction) – receives a fundamentally different vision.

Let us recall that it was JSC “State Joint-Stock Company “Automobile Roads of Ukraine” that provided more than 40% of road crews and more than 37% of special equipment during the peak days of the fight against the winter elements. And now, support from the State, as well as international organizations, funds, donors, and international companies in the field of road construction and operation, on whose balance sheet there are thousands of units of equipment used in the construction and operation of roads, but which has already been decommissioned due to the renewal of the technological and automotive fleet, is extremely important.

The Company already has positive experience in transferring such equipment. That is why JSC “State Joint – Stock Company “Automobile Roads of Ukraine” will be grateful to all European and international institutions for their support and consideration of the possibility of transferring such equipment in the form of technical assistance to the Company’s subordinate regional road transport departments. Especially to those who are directly close to the zone of military operations and are daily at risk of air and missile strikes by Russian aggressors.

JSC “State Joint – Stock Company “Automobile Roads of Ukraine” is a key systemic state company that does everything to ensure the implementation of a strategic direction for the State – the safety of road transport!

The war continues, but we stand firmly on our own land.

Yet to become even stronger, we must change. We must transform our Company, as it is currently in a difficult state.

We will:

• build protective facilities for our energy infrastructure and provide the Armed Forces with anti-drone structures;
• create separate units for humanitarian demining of areas adjacent to key highways, as well as for the construction of fortification structures.

Unfortunately, a significant part of our Company’s enterprises are currently in bankruptcy proceedings.
Within 2–3 years, we plan to bring the Company back to life! We will:

• settle all wage arrears — everyone to whom the Company owes money will receive it;
• pay off most of the tax and fee debts, and clear outstanding obligations to creditors.

For this, we need your personal support!

Every day, I and the Company’s management meet with the heads of regional road enterprises to understand our real situation and to correct it. As a result, we have a clear picture of who truly fulfills their duties and wants to work as part of the team — and who has given up and is indifferent to the future of both the Company and the people who have placed their trust in them as a leader.

A ceremonial awards ceremony dedicated to Driver and Road Worker Day was held at the central office of JSC “SJSC ‘Automobile Roads of Ukraine.’”

Acting Chairman of the Board, Oleksii Doroshenko, addressed the representatives of the road sector, expressing gratitude to his colleagues for their diligent work, professionalism, and dedication.
In his speech, the head emphasized the important role of road workers in ensuring the stable functioning of the country’s transport infrastructure, especially during wartime.
